JD Vance responded angrily to pro-Ukrainian protesters who harassed him while he was walking with his three-year-old daughter in Cincinnati.
The protestors, part of a ‘Slava Ukraini’ group, yelled insults at Vance and questioned the U.S.’s stance on Ukraine.
Footage shows the protestors chasing Vance and his daughter, causing distress. Vance politely asked them to leave his toddler alone, which most agreed to, realizing their behavior was inappropriate. He later called them “sh*t people” for involving children in political protests.
Vance engaged with the protestors, explaining his views on forcing a diplomatic settlement between Russia and Ukraine. Despite differences, he condemned Russia’s invasion, attempting to maintain respectful dialogue.
