The experienced actor is currently working on a film project with Tom Cruise, though production has been temporarily paused due to his injury.

John Goodman, 72, was recently hospitalized after an incident at Pinewood Studios in Bucks, UK, while filming a movie. Reports say he fell while practicing a scene, but his injury was not related to a stunt.
A Warner Bros. Pictures spokesperson confirmed, “Actor John Goodman experienced a hip injury. He received immediate medical attention, which caused a brief delay in shooting to allow him time to recover. Production will resume next week following John’s full recovery.”
Despite the delay, the film is still moving forward. Titled “Judy,” the movie stars Tom Cruise as a powerful figure trying to save humanity. Directed by Oscar winner Alejandro González Iñárritu, filming has been ongoing for nearly two months, and the movie is set for release in October 2026.
